was complete failure. There are a *huge* number of major changes between
the two: new mythtv (.027-->0.28), new PHP (5->7), new mysql, and switching
over from upstart to systemd, and the multiple migrations between them went
poorly.  I'd recommend backing up your recordings and the mythtv database,
installing 16.04 fresh, and restoring them. I started over with Lubuntu
16.04 LTS and everything installed well and the database restored
successfully. My system generally seems to be a lot more stable on lubuntu
16.04 than it was on mythbuntu 14.04.
