Please don't top-post!

The moment you mentioned "HD Homerun" my first thought was power supplies. They are a known factor
that can cause problems after a while.

You say the other HDHR has other problems. Have you tried switching power supplies to see if the
problems move? Try also finding another supply (of the same voltage and wattage, of course) to see
if that improves anything.

I apologise for "top" posting I am new to these mailing list thingies.

The other HD Homerun did loose a power supply and I had a replacement on hand but the problems are sporadic, with the new tool I discover above I might be able to troubleshoot a bit more.

I found one of my recordings failed and I investigated and found that the issue was the HDHomeRun, this the command I ran and the result:

[root at vmmythtv ~]# hdhomerun_config 1110085f get /tuner0/debug
tun: ch=auto:191500000 lock=t7qam64:191625000 ss=100 snq=100 seq=100 dbg=-304/-131072
dev: bps=23050304 resync=0 overflow=0
ts: bps=22560 te=0 crc=0
net: pps=0 err=3251 stop=3

As you can see there is a stop=3 where when they are working normally it is stop=0, now I just have to work out what that stop message means.
