The theme update checks were doing it hourly, but there were a couple
of other unnecessary scans of the Videos group occurring over a
24-hour period which I didn't have logging on to identify a cause.
Since the modification it's not been accessed at all except when I
explicitly use MythVideo. I still have theme update checks disabled,
but I'll try turning them back on as it should be safe now.

In terms of running with the modification causing issues for me
personally; I'll take the risk (and there's the beauty of
open-source!) - I could always bodge it even further to make it scan
everywhere except the Videos group, but I have a philosophical issue
with it randomly scanning places it's not been expressly told to
anyway.
