And btw, according to a post over on the greenbutton
forum, apparently the Ceton power bricks can "fail" and
result in increased levels of "flakyness" which can
go away with a higher quality replacement supply.
As this is a common failure mode for consumer device
power supplies I am not surprised (the SD HDHR
and the various Hauppauge devices are notorious
about power supply issues causing flaky with the
usual cause being increased ripple voltages due to
caps failing; age matters).
