[mythtv-users] Wrong screen resolution

Hi folks,

When I start myhtv on my computer, the screen resolution changes to 800
X 600 or so. The result is that I can only see about a quarter of the
full screen.
I can't change things much because I can't scroll around, and if I can't
see a particular page I don't know what's on it.

I have tried a simple idea of un-installing and reinstalling, but that
didn't fix things. I have also gone through the file system and deleted
any file or folder with either mythtv or.mythtv in the name that I can
find. Still no joy.

I would like some help, as currently I can't use mythtv for anything
other than looking at giant sized icons of tv aerials and a bunch of
spanners.
