Thanks to everybody, the problem is solved, I wrote a wrapper to launch mythfrontend after unsetting http_proxy. Regarding "Couldn't find an A/V decoder" error, there was nothing wrong with my compile options, it seems to be the 0.27 way to say "Error opening jump file". -- Cheers, Saul
