Thanks Tim,
This is working great, shame the libcec2 patches are yet to be merged into
mythtv :(
http://code.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/11338
I never got the libcec1 support working even though support was compiled in
and I installed the older libcec1 versions and added my frontend user to
the dialout group :( as per
http://themanfrey.blogspot.com.au/2012/09/enabling-libcec-on-mythbuntu-1204-with.html
apt-get install libcec-dev=1.6.1-2
apt-get install libcec1=1.6.1-2
Oct 9 22:13:39 Micromyth mythfrontend.real: mythfrontend[2235]: E
CoreContext cecadapter.cpp:146 (Open) CECAdapter: Failed to find any CEC
devices.
Oct 9 22:13:39 Micromyth mythfrontend.real: mythfrontend[2235]: I
CoreContext cecadapter.cpp:216 (Close) CECAdapter: Closing down CEC.
but I couldn't find an appropriate cec-util version to install :( and
confirm
Anthony
