[mythtv-users] mythtv-setup hangs on exit

A similar problem has been discussed before, but the solution listed 
here does not work for me:

Some other threads mention setting up the sound in the frontend, which I 
have done.

I installed MythTV 0.26 on Fedora 19 from RPM Fusion generally following 
these instructions, except using the Software Install GUI instead of the 
command line:

But when I (1) run mythtv-setup, (2) hit Enter in response to the prompt 
to stop the backend and (3) exit; mythtv-setup hangs, regardless of 
whether I run it from the GUI icon or the command line. That's true even 
if I try to stop the backend as described in the thread above. But if 
instead of hitting Enter to stop the backend I scroll down to Continue 
and hit Enter, mythtv-setup exits normally.

The thread above says to stop the backend before running mythtv-setup, 
but I am beginning to wonder whether "sudo service mythbackend stop" and 
"sudo service mythbackend start" are working. The output of "service 
--status-all" does not look at all like my working MythDora box.

At any rate, here is my output (recall that after opening mythtv-setup, 
I hit Enter to stop the backend).
