With the Xv video rendering mechanism, graphics are drawn onto the 
unscaled video, then passed to the video card for scaling.  This is why 
the OSD looks terrible when you're watching SDTV on a 1080p screen.  
However, as you can see, we actually seem to scale the OSD before 
drawing, so there's probably something missing for the message dialog 
(because the dev who created it probably only tested with the modern 
video renderers).  So, until someone finds and fixes that bug...
