I can vouch for that.  I live across the street from an elementary 
school that got a big technology grant a couple of years ago.  I 
couldn't figure out why my wireless went down from 7:30 to 2:30 every 
single day - I'd test it at home, it would work fine, I'd check it from 
work, it would be down.

Then one day I was home DWH and ran a wifi sniffer; they have so many 
APs over there that they're stepping on each other.  Worse, they're 
programmed to hunt for available channels, so during school hours, they 
take up every bit of spectrum.

After that, I'll never trust wifi for anything even vaguely important.
