[mythtv-users] White bleeding on edges of screen

Have myth hooked up to my HDTV via Audio Authority 9A60 (VGA -> Component)
When playing back content in myth, there seems to be a white
bleeding/ghosting on the edges of the picture.  It is especially noticeable
when viewing letterboxed content.
I've ruled out the TV, as watching identical content via xine shows no such
bleeding and a solid, even, black background

It was hard to get a good photo, but here's an example of the left side of
screen

Any thoughts as to what this could be?
