[mythtv-users] New Debian Install

Hi smartin,

I'm using Debian too. Do you have the ivtv driver working? This is needed to
get your tv card working, and is the place to start. Get the driver and
instructions from here: http://ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Main_Page

Once you get that then download and install mythtv  0.20 along with the
plugins and themes packages from the mythtv website. Be sure to follow the
directions on mythtv website CAREFULLY.

If you want to start from scratch, knoppmyth is a prepackaged distro based
on mythtv that makes it really easy to get things going:
