Hi,
I know nothing about your Xbox install (or running Linux on Xbox at all,
for that matter) neither do I pretend to know everything about Linux.
That said, I had trouble with my screen saver and power saving settings
not doing what I wanted. In KDE, I would change them by right-clicking
the desktop and choosing 'Configure Desktop...' but this wouldn't always
work. I eventually saw that powersaved was running and was being fronted
by kpowersave. Check for this on your system. If it's running, try
killing it and see what happens. If that sorts it, you could try playing
with running it with different profiles. Maybe it would be nice for it to
spin the HDD down after a while, or run the fan a little slower for noise
reduction, etc.
flim.
