Thanks dweller. I followed your instructions and it helped some, but the real breakthrough was when I realised that if I switch source and use TV (mono) instead of Television (stereo) then the sound is OK. Now I have another problem, but I will start a new thread for that because it seems to be unrelated. Thanks for the help again. Laszlo
