I suspect its the way you have your video system configured. There is
normally a bit of fuzzyness with a s-video input and a noticable bit more
with a composite input. Throw in the fact that you are converting the video
signal twice (screen->s-video->composite) and its not surprising your video
is not crisp.

Some of it could also be the video card itself, some are just not as clear
as others.

If your card can run it, switching to a resolution of 1024x768 should help.
