[mythtv-users] MythDVD Rip Problem

1 - After several iterations, I managed to somewhat
get further in my attempt to make the Rip feature of
MythDVD to work. I have not found a documentation
telling that you had to run a daemon called mtd and
after doing this, I was able to go to selecting VOBs
to rip.

After selecting 2 VOBs to rip,
then I tried to hit 0 to start the ripping process and
it started to display a screen telling me that
there was no job and nothing else to do.

Anyone can help ?

2 - Also I am using Xine for DVD Playback, when I hit
play, there is a initial window coming up before it
goes to full screen, anyway to avoid that initial
window ?

3 - I have added the xine command in the .lircrc to
have my Hauppauge remote control work appropriately
with the dvd player. But it does not seem that the
commands have been taken into account when I then run
the player.

4 - Anyway to avoid having a kde window poping up when
a DVD or CD get inserted in the DVD drive ?
