Aha, I did wonder about those resolution pairs. I thought it might be as you 
describe but I couldnt see how it would know which resolution belonged to 
the tv and which to the monitor. I guess that it must be hardcoded somewhere 
that the first res is the monitor then.

I've just had another read of the nVidia docs, I've got an idea to try but 
can't check until I am home tonight. It seems that Twinview exports the 
normal Xinerama extensions by default. If this is the case, then I can use 
MythTV's preferences to use Xinerama screen 1. Should work, but it's all 
just theory at the moment.
