a little addition. I search the channels for the analog german cable tv 
channels for NRW (Nordrhein Westfalen).

how can I transfer an xml file storing the tvprogram from my harddisk to the 
database. I tried mythfilldatabase --file, but I don't know how to handle the 
cardid. What is the cardid?

Are the channels stored to such an xml as well? Or where do I get the channels 
from?
