I Relative  newbie that I am i just found that if i used two hard drives -
main os on hda (primary master) and used a second drive (secondary master)
for my video captures - both live and recorded that it didn't end with that
error after ~2-4 hours. Will let you know after i let it run all night
tonight on live whether it has totally fixed the problem. Looks quite good
now though.
