Exactly, any panning movement, whether its a football game, or
even a TV drama show, looks pretty bad in my opinion. I don't
have aTivo or similar so I can't compare to that. However from
my limited understanding, with a bitrate of 8/16 mbps, at a
relatively low resolution I would expect it to look better.
I'm using my HDTV receiver as the comparison point, which is
only slightly higher bitrates but MUCH higher resolution.
There could be flaws in my assumptions, if so please point them
out.
One question... Has anyone compared the PVR250 quality on
Linux vs the native Windowz drivers? If there is no diff, then
it might just be some cheap hardware limitations. If it works
better in Windows, then perhaps there is still hope that the
driver settings can improve.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks,
Brian
