Yes that is what I found as well :(

The rainbowing only affected Debian 0.3.1 in 800 x 600 and is fixed in
0.4.1.

I am pretty sure the slow motion or jumpiness is a result of the Nvidia
chip's registers being stepped on by xbv. Oliver is rewriting the driver
currently and hopefully that will give us an opportunity to engineer this
problem out of the way from the beginning.
