This is a bug. You'll notice that the aspect is empty on that line, and
that's a problem. It will cause mencoder to fail, but mkmovie tries to
connect over and over. This needs to be fixed somehow (I'm just not sure
how yet).

Also, I suspect that your installation of mplayer/mencoder is kinda
broken. Try using mplayer on one of the mythtv .nuv files directly, and
see if it will play. If not, you'll need to patch it to fix it.
