BTW, I've noticed a slight problem where the decoder appears to get
starved for data and stutters every once in a while.  I'm going to
work on that shortly so you may have another patch waiting when you
wake up.

No, I've never had the tinny audio problem.

Yes, I got that one change from his patch.  It helps, but does not
completely fix, a race condition acquiring mailboxes.  Hopefully,
Kevin will be fixing that.  If not, I'll try to lighten up my heavy
handed attempt at fixing it.
