Steve,

I upgraded from .29 to 34 a couple month ago and I don't see any errors 
when running mythconverg_backup.pl on Debian 12 from a self-compiled 
version of mythtv.  The version I have is:

# Script info
    $NAME           = 'MythTV Database Backup Script';
    $VERSION        = '1.0.13';
