It returns the following errors:

> ./mythconverg_backup.pl: 15: =: not found
> ./mythconverg_backup.pl: 16: =: not found
> ./mythconverg_backup.pl: 19: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")


Is this script now deprecated or will it be updated?
