Getting the NUC to run 2160P all the time with my TV has always been a
challenge and I'm not sure why it works with some OS's and not others.
Maybe Wayland relates, but since Wayland fails on some many other features
I don't even test it anymore.

With either solution, you are searching hard for differences.  All are good
pictures.

Anyway to end the evening I switched back to the best picture for Mythtv
for me which was FireTV 4K and Leanfront. The ability to pause the program
to go to the bathroom is very important for the over 70 crowd. :-)
