what was particularly odd about the problem I had with the recording last
night was It was on a channel that HDHR says is very good normally:
ss=100 snq=98 seq=100

I was also recording that program on my production BE which uses a tap on
the same antenna. That program didn't show any major issues ( title not in
Yellow)
on the test system with HDHR, the title was in Yellow and somewhere several
hours into the recording, it broke up badly on the test system.

Right now I'm running a test using the hdhomerun_config command:

[jim at den-pc ~]$ hdhomerun_config 1043ECAB set /tuner0/vchannel 50.1
[jim at den-pc ~]$ hdhomerun_config 1043ECAB get /tuner0/status
ch=8vsb:479000000 lock=8vsb ss=100 snq=98 seq=100 bps=5023360 pps=0
[jim at den-pc ~]$ hdhomerun_config 1043ECAB get /tuner0/streaminfo
3: 50.1 WRAZ HD
4: 50.2 MeTV
5: 54.1 WRTD CD
6: 50.3 DABL
7: 50.4 WRAZ 4
tsid=0x073F

[jim at den-pc ~]$ hdhomerun_config 1043ECAB save /tuner0 capture.ts
..........................................................................................................
..........................................................................................................

Now that I'm testing it, it will probably run all night without an issue.
