[mythtv-users] no audio with newest pre-32 3144 master

Another test:

reinstalled 3144, went into Desktop env. and checked the audio icon for
HDMI. it was.  Played in DE and I had sound.  Exited to console and ran
mythfrontend there and now I have sound.  Who knows?
