[mythtv-users] recording priority not understood

I am trying to set the preference order for input selection.  I can't
seem to adjust which input is selected for a particular recording
without explicitly choosing that input in a custom record rule.  I'd
like to use the channel recpriority instead.  I have tried to create a
custom priority, but nothing seems to change the preference order.

I have 3 sources:
- OTA (2 tuners) sourceid=2
- OTA (1 tuner) sourceid=3
- Cable (6 tuners) sourceid=4

Not all channels are available on all sources, but there is a lot of
overlap in the on the broadcast spectrum.  Where there is overlap, the
preference is 2,4,3.  I'd like to make sense of the record priority and
be able to assign preferences based upon channel.  I must be missing
the obvious.

The backend is fixes/0.27 (a62fc0d)
