[mythtv-users] mythweb and php7

i run my backend on arch linux. recently arch pushed an upgrade from
php 5.6 to php 7. the changes are on their homepage at http://archlinux
.org 

i changed the config files to the point that i could get the httpd
service to run. mythweb did not work and generated a  lot of php errors
in the log which look like this:

PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught Error: Call to a member function query_col()
on null in /var/lib/mythtv/mythweb/includes/utils.php:59\nStack
trace:\n#0
/var/lib/mythtv/mythweb/modules/_shared/tmpl/default/header.php(108)

i downgraded back to what i had and reverted the config files and it is
working again. is this something i am missing in the config files which
in arch are php.ini and httpd.conf and mythweb.conf or is mythweb not
compatible with the new php7  ??
