[mythtv-users] Commercial Detection

It varies greatly depending on the show.  Seems to work better for me 
with OTA, not quite as good with comcast cable.

On occasion towards the end of a show it will skip past the last couple 
of minutes after the last commercial break.   Once in a great while it 
will think part of the show is a commercial and skip  past a full 
segment between commercials.

You might want to try 'Notify, but do not skip' and have it notify a few 
seconds before the break.  If that works well for you, then go to full 
automatic skipping.   I prefer to have it just notify,  and just push a 
button on my remote to skip.
