[mythtv-users] alt lightweight web servers for MythTV?

Thanks for the input offered thus far to my query. I'm continuing to take 
stock of things. I'd actually run across that MythWeb/nginx page 
previously and thought a bit about it. I'm not terribly conversant in web 
servers, so I didn't get a whole lot out of reading that on a first pass. 
Having looked at it again more carefully, the one point I find most 
confusing is also the one that is flagged as being insufficiently 
documented--namely, the Perl backend. I don't know any Perl, my only 
experience with it to date being some attempts at modifying a simple 
script, so I really am clueless as to what the referenced backend might 
be. Anyone care to elaborate? Oh, and by the way, my MythTV has been 
compiled without Perl scripting support (because I have no idea about how 
to do any scripting at all beyond some really rudimentary bash stuff): I 
suppose, were I to go with this nginx solution, I'd need to recompile 
MythTV with Perl support?
