are they all using surround71 device though?
For myth to see the device (it shows up when you do a scan audio
device) yet, you can't use it because it's in use: it means just that:
the audio device is in use.
Myth requires exclusive access to it (like most audio applications)

sigh...
there's nothing to fix related to the audio buffer, changing the
hardware audio buffer size means just that. It allows to allocate
bigger buffer size. nothing more.
it doesn't even mean it's going to be used.
