[mythtv-users] Fresh Mythbuntu install, does not get bast boot screen

It's a long shot, but was the installation corrupted somehow?  I just
had problems with a 10.4 mythbuntu install where it would start booting
but the screen remained black.  I could ctrl-alt-del but that was about
all.  It turns out the disk was a bit funny.  I re-installed on a new HD
(and upgraded to 10.10 at the same time) and now it's good.

This is a bit of a stab in the dark but worth a shot.  The other usual
"weird behaviour cause" is to look at the RAM.  Run memtest for a while
and see what you get.
