I have edited the subject in my reply so if any MythTV developers are
around and are available to comment the subject is a bit more
descriptive to both our problems. Myth saying it has recorded
something which it hasn't is irking me the most.

If you continue to have problems please reply and I will do the same
(I will first fix any auto entries).

I still have Auto in my table and not (to my knowledge) had any
problems since doing a clear down and full retune but as Myth thinks
things have worked when they haven't it is not easy for me to know I
have missed a programme unless I remember something has not been
recorded which should have been - e.g. I view the next episode details
notice it is episode N and think to myself where is episode N-1.

dtv_multiplex and channelscan_dtv_multiplex both have useful
information with regard to tuning/auto settings.

I may see if we get any other replies/see if we can reliably reproduce
if we do/can I may add a trac ticket linking to this thread.
