[mythtv-users] Play start delay in 0.24-fixes

Hi:  I've been puzzled about editing with cutlist in 0.24-fixes because 
it seems less accurate than it was in 0.23-fixes.  It looks as if part 
of the cause is in playback start, and it may be addressed by ticket #9120.

At the start of playback of an edited recording there is often confusion 
for a fraction of a second before smooth playback starts, noticeably 
after the intended start frame.  Going to edit mode and stepping back to 
the beginning, then restarting, gives smooth playback from much nearer 
the intended start frame.

I'm using a Project-X script to edit, and it finishes by rebuilding the 
seektable.  Recordings are in SD from dvb-t in the uk.  mythfrontend -v 
playback shows this sort of thing at playback start.  Now I know that 
the editing is working more-or-less as intended I'm not so concerned, 
but does anyone have suggestions for improvement?
