You need a 2x de-interlacer for this to have any hope of working, a friend with a similar TV says it sort of works.

For the full interpolation to work the TV needs access to the compressed video stream, no hdmi feed contains all the information necessary. Many of these motion interpolators cannot even be turned on for a hdmi input, if you can get the TV to play recordings over uPnP/DLNA it may work.

Depends a lot on which TV with which interpolator, if the TV will allow you to turn on Motion Flow when an external source is selected then a 2x de-interlacer is worth a shot, there was some work on interlaced passthrough recently but I didn't get very good results when I tried it.

Make sure you have the correct framerate too
