[mythtv-users] LiveTV image vertically compressed and doubled

Hi,

I just finished building MythTv 0.23.1 from the source tarballs on Mandriva
2010.0. I installed all the prerequisites identified by configure, although for
some reason it doesn't recognize the firewire and libfftw3 libraries (the -devel
packages are installed too). But it compiled and installed fine.

I've set it up as a master backend with frontend. The MySql setup, mythtv-
setup, mythfilldatabase, backend startup (for now I didn't launch the backend
as a daemon, just at a command line), and frontend startup all went fine.

I'm using an old Zoltrix TV-Max analog pci card that's served me well for
years. I already have it working with tvtime, with the audio routed from line
out to line in on my audio card. I'm not getting any audio in Mythtv yet, but
I'll worry about that later.

The big problem is that when I watch livetv I get a double image, one above
the other and each one vertically compressed to half its normal height. Any
idea what might be causing that?

Shocky
