[mythtv-users] Mythlink and extension

Hey,

I have Sony bravia ex700 and I am trying to play encoded recordings via
dlna.
Mythtv's own dlna support did not work, but I got minidlna to work for me.
The only problem is
that encoded recordings do not show up. mp4 should be supprorted, but I
quess that it is not
supported if the extension is .mpg.

I have used mythrename to link recordings to dlna-share and I am considering
to move to use mythlink.
But I would like to know that how can I make it so that if the recording is
transcoded, the extension would
be changed for example to .mp4.
