look the last thing I want is a flame war. I do know the list protocol
and you may or may not notice that i DO spend more time on here (and
mythbuntu forums) helping others than asking for help. I didn't quite
realise it had only been two days, i should have waited longer. The
list is quite busy and once mails fall below the "first page" of your
inbox or folder they tend to get forgotten (IME).

Anyway thanks to those that responded, I think I have it sussed now,
and I hope you got your caffeine levels correct Gavin :)

And thanks for all your efforts, both developers and documenters (yes
people who reply to these messages are an essential part of the
documentation process).

I hope I can regard myself as spanked and end the thread on a positive note!
