[mythtv-users] Improving nfs performance

Many distributions use 8k as read and write_size when mounting nfs.
On mythbackend I use this in rc.local to increase block-sizes

echo 1048576 > /proc/fs/nfsd/max_block_size

when mounting this results in

server:/pvfs /spvfs nfs 
rw,vers=3,rsize=2097152,wsize=2097152,hard,proto=tcp,timeo=600,retrans=2,sec=sys,addr=server 
0 0

The work on Parallel Network Filesystem even has much bigger blocksizes 
to improve nfs performance.
