If Active EIT collection is disabled for all cards, then the frequency
and length of recordings (scheduled or LiveTV) will determine how much
EIT listings data is retrieved.

I've had active EIT disabled for many months now to cure a memory leak
and see satisfactory data for radio channels (not support by uk_rt
yet), with my backend normally recording a few times per day (>=
1hr/day).
