Exactly.

Yeah, that's a really bad problem that you have due to the fact that 
your broadcasters are sending out garbage data...

If only there were some way you could pay some small amount of 
money--say, maybe, $0.05/day--and get the same data that TiVo users pay 
$15/mo to get...

(Remember, also, that http://schedulesdirect.org/ offers a 7-day free 
trial, so if you're not sure, you can try it out.  Also, note that 
duplicate matching with US EIT is largely useless as each channel will 
give different descriptions and different amounts of info and there 
won't be "authoritative" programid's to use instead.  However, duplicate 
matching with SD data is virtually perfect because a single provider 
provides .  The only time it fails for me is when the broadcaster fails 
to provide info on which episode is showing (so you get a "generic" 
episode that Myth records, anyway, just in case).)

Use open-on-demand for the digital device.  You may also need to use 
passive EIT (which has its downsides), but I'll let someone who actually 
knows about EIT tell you more.
