The appendix in the driver pertaining to VDPAU explains which GPU
cores are supported.  Quadro chips are based on the same (slightly
modified) cores.  So once again, the list above (which was a quick
summary for the layman) and the the driver appendix listing the cores
stands.  No 7xxx or earlier card is supported by VDPAU.
