[mythtv-users] Setting up HD Channels with Analog Equivalent

I've got a set-top box that has several channels both in HD and not HD
(e.g., Discovery). I was looking at the Wiki yesterday, and the
suggestion seems to be to change the HD channel to have the same
callsign as the regular channel; and that rules that say record "DISC"
or whatever call sign I assign it will juts pick the first available
tuner (so if I get my analog tuner assigned a higher ID than the cable
box, I would get an HD version when it is available and otherwise it
would default to the analog).

What I'm wondering is if it is possible to make the non-HD channel
invisible (or delete it), and leave the HD channel in the lineup; but
assign it to the regular channel number. For example, ABC is 7 on
analog and 707 HD. I've assigned the HD version of WABC to 7 on my
HDHomeRun. Ideally, I would just like there to be a single channel 7
on all four of my encoders, but I'm not sure if doing that will mess
up getting listings from Schedules Direct.
