My MythTV started behaving oddly today.

slamb at mythtv:~$ mythbackend --version

slamb at mythtv:~$ hdhomerun_config 1013EF17 get /sys/version

Prior to yesterday, my setup was as follows:

     cardinputid 1, cardid 1:
       Hauppage PVR-500 (/dev/video0) tuner 1 connected to sourceid 1
     cardinputid 2, cardid 2:
       Hauppage PVR-500 (/dev/video1) tuner 1 connected to sourceid 1
     cardinputid 3, cardid 3:
HDHomeRun port 0 connected to sourceid 2
     cardinputid 4, cardid 4:
HDHomeRun port 1 connected to sourceid 2

where "source 1" is the unencrypted cable analog channels and "source 2"
is the unencrypted cable digital channels. Yesterday afternoon, I added
the following:

     cardinputid 5, cardid 1:
Hauppage DVR-500 (/dev/video0) composite connected to sourceid 3

where sourceid 3 is new with one channel, the encrypted digital channel
we've left a cable box permanently tuned to. New XMLTV lineup for it as
well. I made no physical changes; the splitters and whatnot were already
in this configuration.

Everything seemed to be working (I flipped through the inputs in Live TV
mode with "y"; we could record things from the new input. But today the
MythTV has failed to record anything on the HDHomeRun. Each time
/var/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log says the following:

2008-05-19 07:00:17.341 scheduler: Started recording: Power Yoga: Mind
and Body "Airplanes": channel 2092 on cardid 3, sourceid 2

I don't know what to make of this. This same channel (even program)
recorded fine yesterday morning; I'm pretty sure I did nothing but add
the new source and cardinput since then. Physical wiring looks fine. If
I flip to the HDHomeRun with "y" in "Watch Live TV", channel 9_2 is the
first one that comes up.

From googling, the closest result was
http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/3546, but that seems quite different
(a weird input never working vs. my setup working after a seemingly
unrelated change).

What could this mean?

Best regards,
Scott
