If you have Net::UPnP and Net::UPnP::QueryResponse and
Net::UPnP::ControlPoint installed*** and you've set your UPnP PIN to
0000 (in mythtv-setup, under General Settings):

Security Pin (Required)
Pin code required for a frontend to connect to the backend. Blank
prevents all connections, 0000 allows any client to connect.

then UPnP should work just fine. Note that if you're thinking, "allows
any client to connect--that's terrible," in truth, it's basically what
we had in all prior versions of Myth.

***If installing with CPAN, you'll need to install Net::UPnP (which will
also install Net::UPnP::QueryResponse) /and/ explicitly install
Net::UPnP::ControlPoint to get a working install.
