[mythtv-users] Compiling MythTV on a computer instead of the Xbox

I also would recommend using the debian source packages to build the
.dep packages.  Just grab one from the previous version and fix it to
point to the new 0.21 codebase and compile it.  When I built the deb
packages, I did it in vmware running xebian since it is *alot* faster.
