Maybe there should be a law about people making offhand remarks like:

When they have not read the Bill...It will make these actions illegal
*WHETHER OR NOT THERE ARE ANY TECHNICAL PROTECTION MEASURES INVOLVED*.
The Bill is actually MUCH worse than the DMCA.
And now I have to waste a lunch or two trying to get the vegetable*
local MP to understand something about technology. And he's a Liberal
ass too.
Geoff
* MP's are sometimes known as 'the vegetables' from the Maggie Thatcher
joke: she is having dinner at the House, together with a group of her
MP's. The waiter asks " What would like to have Madame Prime Minister".
"I'll have the roast beef, please" she says. "And for the vegetables?"
says the waiter. "They'll have the same.".
Mark Twain might be the originator of 'congress-critter'. But he IS the
first to equate a congressman with the village idiot.
