Got it thanks. I found my lircrc file and saw that the Stop button was
defined as the Exit key.

Some other questions I now have (these may be Mythbuntu specific but
help on any of them would be useful).

Once I found lircrc I thought I would copy it onto a USB stick so I
could analyze it later without interrupting viewing. However Mythbuntu
didn't automatically mount the USB drive like my Ubuntu desktop does.
Does anyone know what I need to install to enable this? I haven't
tried an SD card yet but my system has a built-in card reader which I
figure will be useful for showing photos and video from people's
cameras. It'd be nice if it would automatically mount the drives.

I have a wireless card installed and it works but when I reboot the
system it wants me to re-enter the passkey. I guess I won't be
rebooting and I do intend to leave a keyboard attached long-term but
it'd be nice if it remembered this. Why isn't it remembering?
